What is Multispectral Imaging?

Healthy leaves reflect green light because they have more chlorophyll 

Unhealthy leaves reflect yellow and red light because they have less chlorophyll 

Leaves also reflect infrared light 

This graph shows the amount of  reflectance a typical plant has. The green bar is a healthy plant and the red bar is an unhealthy plant, 

If you look closely, a lot of a plant's reflectance is in the invisible or infrared spectrum of light
